Patrick Yoo is experienced in nearly all aspects of civil litigation through trial, in both state and federal court and arbitral forums. His practice spans the full arc of complex commercial disputes — from pre-litigation strategy and early case assessment through discovery, dispositive motions, and trial.
Mr. Yoo has substantial experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and has prevailed on summary judgment motions that disposed of entire actions or eliminated claims carrying significant punitive damages exposure. His clients have included financial institutions, insurance professionals, corporate officers and directors, and businesses navigating high-stakes litigation.
Prior to joining Tajima LLP, Mr. Yoo was a senior associate at O'Hagan Meyer, where he developed deep experience in professional liability and complex commercial defense. He is conversational in Korean.
