Tajima LLP welcomes Qihao (Carl) Qin as an Associate Attorney, expanding the firm’s capacity to represent clients in California business and employment disputes.
Carl works in English and Mandarin, helping Mandarin-speaking clients communicate their objectives, understand the litigation process, and participate in decisions affecting their cases. His language capability complements Tajima LLP’s work on California disputes involving parties, business relationships, transactions, and evidence connected to the Asia-Pacific region.
Carl also serves as Chair of Tajima LLP’s Technology and Artificial Intelligence Committee.
His practice includes drafting motions and briefs, conducting legal research, handling written discovery and discovery disputes, and analyzing financial records. Before joining Tajima LLP, Carl practiced at Wu & Reddy, a Professional Corp., and worked as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Jack D. Josephson.
Carl also brings experience from in-house work in China involving commercial contracts and compliance. That background gives him a practical understanding of business operations and the commercial relationships that can become central to litigation.
He earned his LL.M. in Business Law from the University of Southern California and his LL.B. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is admitted to practice in California and has passed China’s bar examination.
